2nd Friday Artwalk
Daniel & Laura Wallace, Clyde Jones, Callie Warner
September 14, 2008, 6-9pm

September is National Literacy Month and owner/broker, Jay Parker, has assembled a highly talented and generous group to show their art AND raise money for the Orange County Literacy Council.

You may know Daniel Wallace - he's the best selling author of "Big Fish". Weaver Street is proud to offer a venue for the 'world premiere' showing of his drawings. His wife, Laura, will also be here displaying her wonderful jewelry.

Additionally, we'll be raffling off two pieces; a painting by Clyde Jones, a world famous, yet very local folk artist. He's a real character and strong supporter of education and childrens' causes. Callie Warner, a wonderful local sculptor has also donated a piece for raffle.

Raffle tickets are $5 each and tickets can be bought through September 30th.
Daniel & Laura's work will be for sale. All sale and raffle proceeds will go to the Orange County Literacy Council

Wine and food are generously being donated by Acme Restaurant-one of our favorite restaurants in all of Carrboro & Chapel Hill!
