Rachael Deagman was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. And yes, she loves to ski! After graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English literature, she returned to Colorado and dabbled in commercial and residential real estate marketing and sales. She then completed her M.A. in beautiful Boulder, CO and moved on to pursue a Ph.D. at Duke University. But don't worry — she holds her own as a hybrid Wahoo/Blue Devil smack dab in the middle of all these Tar Heels! Rachael works part-time with Weaver Street Realty while finishing up her (final!) degree in medieval English literature. In her spare time, she enjoys running the Washington Duke trail and volunteering at Habitat-Durham.
